Capitalist

This is Maggie Grace from the hit TV show "Lost". She was at a comic book show that Matt and I went to on Saturday. (Yes we are nerds) But we are even bigger Lost fans, so we waited in a line for about an hour to get her autograph. Along with the other people in line we were astonished to hear when we got within breathing distance that it would be $25 for Maggie's autograph. What?!? It was actually quite funny to hear that info get passed down the line from one disgusted fan to another. But maybe we could get our picture taken with her... Yeah for $20. But you could take a picture of her from a distance. So we wait in line for an hour and all we get is this picture. Oh well that is life in Celebrity America. I might have paid the $25 if it was Evangeline Lilly (at least she is still on the show).

On the way out I notice that Jake Lloyd is at this show as well (played Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars Episode 1) and I ask the lady sitting next to him behind his table if his autograph is free. Of course not. It is also $25. There's no way I'm paying some little kid (he's actually about 18 now with a beard) money to scribble his name on a picture. Especially not some kid that ruined the Star Wars prequel!

World Series

Reese was a little cranky while we were eating dinner so we put her in her swing. When she first got in she was crying because she was hungry, but then she stopped. I look over and she is staring at the TV. Why? Because the World Series is on. She is a smart girl. :) 

Papa, Grandmommy, & Uncle Davey

Kate's fam dropped by for a visit and Reese asked for a photo shoot. I have no idea if she'll call David - Uncle Davey but everyone else got a new name!

This is Reese with her friend Madeline Bell, who is just 10 days younger. They already look like they are going to cause trouble. I mean the moms of course. :)

Believe me Andrea is alot more excited than she looks to be holding her namesake. She's going to kill Skip for posting this picture.

So what do you do when the 7 month old is crawling all over the place and the 5 week old is crying? You pick them both up and hope you don't drop one. Isaac is holding on for dear life because he knows that I'm the new daddy on the block. 

Rosey Returns

Aunt Rosey got to come visit from San Antonio. Is Reese checking out Isaac or Elijah??? 

Baby Einstein

Reese loves her play mat. The bright colors are stimulating her brain. Next week she is going to start learning the quadratic equation. 

I want my Mummy

I want my mummy. Get it? It has a double meaning. She is saying she wants her mommy, but it's also a Halloween outfit. Those people at Gap are so clever.

Reese stopped over at Great Aunt Beth's house so that Daddy could go to a meeting. Emily used to be the youngest in the family, but now she's a babysitter!

Elijah the Giant

For those of you that don't know, this is Elijah. He was baby numero uno in our crazy group of friends. Now he's 3! He was the first baby to ever pee on Skip. Remember that one Jimmy? Fun times.
